Recently completed and facility updates in progress have provided the IR group with new angiography suites and the latest equipment available. In addition to high clinical productivity, the division is active in research, and faculty are currently involved in many investigational clinical studies in collaboration with physicians from Oncology, Surgery, Gynecology, and Transplantation, among others. Fully trained and dedicated IR physicians are available on a daily basis at UPMC hospitals throughout the Pittsburgh region.
