PET: Computing Lab

Computer Resources

The PET Center Computer Lab is available to research investigators and students. The PET Center provides an opportunity to work using the latest Macintosh, Windows, Linux, and Solaris workstations to assist their analysis. These workstations apply the use of various analytical software which is available for region-of-interest definition and sampling and within- and cross-modality image co-registration. The workstations also provide access to the PET Centers data analysis servers. These high-end servers also run the latest Windows, Macintosh, Linux, and Solaris operating systems.

Analysis software includes routines for compartmental modeling, reference-tissue, graphical, and principal component analyses, and partial volume correction. Statistical Parametric Mapping (SPM) software is available for functional brain mapping and voxel-based morphometry studies. Visit our software page here for more detail on software we use. This provides a high performance computing option for researchers, students and faculty interested in PET related projects.
